A mindset shift on things ‘going wrong’
What happens when things go wrong and we feel in the depths of despair? How do we reframe it to make it feel better?
Everything feels like it’s going wrong sometimes. You know those days when you spill everything, you mess up at work, and everyone seems to have it in for you?
They really suck. And then maybe something awful happens, you say it ‘isn’t your week,’ and it’s a recurring pattern.
Here’s my mindset shift I try to use when I feel this way: what if what I believe is going ‘wrong’ is actually going ‘right’?
What if when we believe all the things are falling apart, that it’s all coming together?
What if you had to be made redundant from work so you could finally get that dream job? What if that person had to leave your life to make space and time for someone who is meant to be there?
See, your idea of ‘wrong’ might just be that your reality isn’t fitting the narrative you had planned out for your future.
Maybe God or the universe has a different plan for you: one you’ll thank them for at some point in your life. How that thing turned out may not feel good right now, but what if it’s not actually going ‘wrong’?
I know there are some clear ‘wrongs’ on paper. But sometimes the road to the most beautiful places in life means we have to take the hardest routes to get there.
Everything is happening to you to either teach you a lesson, or bring you closer to where you’re meant to be.
Follow that soul intuition, and you’ll get there in the exact way. You are supposed to be reading this: it was written for you.
