Your mood goes from mediocre to genuinely joyful when you meditate. If you’re angry, you can recenter your focus in a calming meditation, and let go of the thoughts that are stressing you out.

By meditating, we release endorphins similar to the way exercise makes us feel.
Better focus
You are massaging and restructuring a part of the brain that we use for motor systems, which enable us to tell the time. That’s why when we’re stressed or panicked, we lose sense of time. By meditating, we genuinely change the shape of that part of the brain.
