Where are you flowing vs forcing?
There are some parts of our lives where we feel resistance, and others that we feel a sense of calling and urgency towards.
When I started this coaching business, there was resistance. Did that mean I should never have bothered? Not at all.
It meant I was scared. Of what people would think, of whether I’d fail along the way. The difference is that there was a sense of urgency, an inner calling towards doing this I couldn’t quite shake off.
That’s when I knew that my intuition was trying to tell me something.
My gut instinct was completely aware that this was the path I was meant to go on.
To help people, to bring calm to other young women’s lives, and transform their mindset by reducing their anxiety.
That was when I realised that the more I flowed with life and what felt right for me, despite the fear, I started to live in alignment with my destined path.
Forcing felt like certain people and experiences that no longer sat right with me, such as people who didn’t align with my values or staying busy all the time.
So I started living slower. And that’s when everything started falling into place.
Life started to move so gracefully. I felt happier, calmer, and moving with intention felt like I truly was living authentically.
I removed anyone and anything that felt unaligned to me (even old clothes that no longer suited me!) and started to find my flow. So, where are you forcing vs flowing?
Find something in life that makes everything else fall into place, and remove anything that feels forced - that doesn’t include resistance to what scares you.
Play big and stop shrinking yourself to fit into people, jobs and places that simply do not serve you. You’ve got this!
We just done our second event of the Coaching With CB community, an hour of blissful meditation, journalling and mindfulness. Please come and join us on August 17th for the next one!
